Start with a tool

Choose Browse on the left, then search or expand a folder.
Select a tool. Its clean URL can be bookmarked, shared, or opened directly later.
Use Save to keep it close, or Group to organise it or pin it to the rail.

Press / to focus search, use the arrow keys to select a result, then press Enter to open it.

The left rail

Browse: Find tools and expand folders. Recent tools appear at the top and can be collapsed.
Saved: Open saved tools and arrange them into your own groups.
Hotkeys: See keyboard controls, live numbered-pin shortcuts, and configure quick run.
Help: Return to this guide whenever something is unclear.
Changelog: See concise notes about visible improvements and new tools.
Settings: Change appearance and import or export locally stored Utilpad data.

Pin up to five tools or folders from their Group menu. Their rail numbers match Alt+1 through 5; drag the pins to change that order. Right-click a rail pin to remove it, or unpin it from its Group menu on a touch device. Browse and Saved can also be reordered on desktop.

Status markers

A green dot means the tool is saved.
A blue dot marks a recently added tool you have not opened.

About Utilpad

Utilpad is a collection of focused browser utilities with clean, shareable pages and a common workspace around them. Most preferences, saved groups, and tool state stay in storage on your device. Tools that require an external service explain that dependency in their interface or documentation.
